Mk1 Caddy Part 1.

A week ago i got hold of a Mk1 Caddy,  2 owners from new and a genuine 42,000 miles, bit of a gamble as it was purchased unseen.

Under the cover of darkness it was delivered by Shiply.com

I've had a few days too poke around it and all seems good.

Spent 2 days removing the wooden strips and the adhesive from bed and the tailgate.

While waiting for parts too arrive, i started refurbing a old set of 14" Passat steels.

Did'nt cross my mind too try the Passat Steels before i prep'd and painted them, so this morning i tried one of them for size...........perfect.

And so it continues..........

Smell that air.

At the tender age of 14 i started smoking, 36 years later i have decided too quit, with the help of the NHS it's been 8 weeks since my last one.

The way i've written that.........it sounds more like a bloody confession.

Some 10 hours later than expected and under the cover of darkness, my newly acquired Mk1 Caddy arrived.

Guy of houseofbonzer.blogspot.co.uk has got himself a cool little Triumph.

He'll be causing havoc on the streets real soon and Guy when you do, it'll be a pleasure too share a ride but..............dont forget to carry some loose change, you'll need it for the bus fare home........ when the fucker breaks down.

Vehicle collection.

I'm looking for a company or someone who can collect a vehicle from Doncaster and deliver it too Poole in Dorset.
